In addition to the reference knowledgebases supplied with the applications, user knowledgebases can be created for use in AnalyzeIt.
Do one of the following to create a new user knowledgebase:
Choose File > New Knowledgebase.
Choose Knowledgebase > New.
A Save As dialog box opens, where you can type a name and specify the location for your knowledgebase.
Note: Saving all knowledgebases in a single location facilitates easy access.
Once the name and location have been specified, the AnalyzeIt main window changes to accommodate building the user knowledgebase (the Functional Group Tree, Spectral pane, Structure pane, and Notes pane are displayed) and the Add Classification command becomes available on the Knowledgebase menu.
