Import Spectrum

Do one of the following to display a spectrum in the ReportIt application's drawing area:

• Choose File > Import Spectrum.

• Choose Import > Spectrum from the Drawing Area pop-up menu.

• Select the Object Placeholder tool on the Standard toolbar and drag in the drawing area until the placeholder is the correct size. When you release the mouse button, select either Empty Spectrum or Import Spectrum from the Object Placeholder pop-up menu.
  
  
  
  If you choose Empty Spectrum, a placeholder is created. You can transfer a spectrum into this space from another KnowItAll Informatics System application.

Once a spectrum has been added to a ReportIt document it can be moved and resized like any other object.

You can right click within a spectrum to open the Spectral View pop-up menu, or double click within it to open the Spectrum toolbar. Both include commands that can be used to adjust various aspects of the spectral display.
